Part of the prestigious Institut Mines-Télécom, it is a public institution dedicated to Research and Innovation in the fields of engineering, the study of materials and the environment.
Our school is in close and constant contact with the business community. It combines a strong academic legitimacy in these four dimensions: Information Technology, Energy, Ecology and Production with close corporate relations.

Geared towards economic stakeholders, our activities involve R&D, innovation and engineering studies. Our faculty and teaching staff includes engineers, managers, specialists and professors, and are renowned for their excellence at both the national and international level.
Each year, approximately one hundred start-ups spawn from our incubator network.

Alès has excellent road, rail and air links with the rest of France. It is about 40 km from Nîmes airport and 70 km from Montpellier-Méditerranée airport. It is accessible by several highways (A7, A4 and A54) and by rail (take the TGV (High Speed Train) to Nîmes and then change for Alès). Alès is located around 40 minutes from Nîmes by train.
